We recently spent two weeks staying in unit C35 and had a very positive experience. It was beautifully furnished and maintained. The kitchen was well supplied with any sort of cookware or utensils needed and there were plenty of dishes, glassware and flatware. The bed was very comfortable for a good night’s sleep every night. We loved the location of the unit. The lanai had a nice view of the grounds and the ocean. I enjoyed sitting there early mornings and we enjoyed dinners while watching the sunset on most evenings. The condo complex as a whole was beautiful. We loved the stretch of sand at the shoreline which had plenty of shade and lots of lounge chairs. We spent our late afternoons relaxing there almost every day. The whole complex was quiet and conveniently located. We like being away from the busy-ness of town; it was just a short drive to get to restaurants, shopping etc. We agreed that if we return to Hawaii island, Kona Isles is where we would return to stay.

I have stayed at Kona Isle on four occasions and a great experience every time! Great spot with a lovely place by the water to lounge. This unit was very clean and well-equipped. Communication from the host was excellent. Highly Recommended!

Kona Isle C35 was perfect! Everything was as advertised. Small but comfortable for the two of us. In unit laundry was a huge plus! Absolutely love the complex! Quiet and peaceful. The area by the water was so beautiful, we could sit there all day if we weren't out exploring the Island! We saw whales and watched the sunset. Perfectly situated area for grilling, picnicking or just having a cold drink. The condo is set back from that area so even if there was noise from groups enjoying gatherings, we didn't hear it. Kona Vacation Rental was great to work with. They were very communicable and answered pre-checkin emails and phone calls promptly. (We didn't need to contact them during our visit because we had no issues!) Definitely recommend Kona Isle and Kona Vacation Rental!

Ideal square footage for a couple. The lanai is a perfect spot to enjoy the trade winds and listen to the waves crash. Or one can sit in the beach chairs below the pool and take in the evening sunset. Plenty of ceiling fans to move air and the A/C unit to cool it down at night. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of cookware and a large fridge. Close to the beaches and boat ramps. Just down the street from lots of dining establishments.

Ocean Sunsets Every Night

We enjoyed our stay at Kona Isle. The units are perfectly located, far enough from the hustle of town but close enough to shopping and main events of the island. Ocean sunsets every night. My only suggestion is the kitchen needs some updates. There weren’t any cutting boards, I had to go buy some. The knifes are about as sharp as a butter knife. The cabinets don’t close so you’re always banging into them. If the fan is on don’t open cabinets because the fan will hit them. Also no oven just a toaster oven. Overall nothing you can’t work around. The bed was super comfy and the air con was perfect in that room. We only used the fan in the living area and it worked just fine. I would recommend to my friends to stay there.

You can't beat having an ocean front location & it's not as busy as in town. We already have our reservations for next year.

We had a fantastic stay at Kona Isle #C35. The condo was spotless upon our arrival. We loved having all of the comforts of home, including a washer/dryer and the ability to make many of of meals there. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the extra comforts and useful beach items, like an umbrella and boogie boards. We used both on the last day and had so much fun at Hapuna Beach. The condo building was awesome, with a great pool, lots of lounge chairs, and amazing ocean views. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We hope to return someday, not only to the Big Island, but the same building and condo. We loved every minute! Thank you!

For my wife and me the time in Kona Isle was wonderful.
We had little idea, and of course wondered whether our expectations are fulfilled and the house, the apartment and the surroundings are really as beautiful as it looked in the pictures.
We can say it is even more beautiful. We had two very happy weeks in Condo C 35, everything fit and was made for us.
We liked the complex itself very much. the wooden construction is cozy, but above all everything is practical and not too cramped. To have a balcony where we could always sit and see the sea, that was a happiness.
Thank you also for the helpfulness even before our arrival, the cab arrangement for the airport transfer helped us a lot.
I would like to especially mention the cleanliness and order of the facility, everything is well maintained and in excellent condition.
We have of course enjoyed the tranquility, especially the beautiful beach very much, the town center is not far, we could walk the way, which is of course very pleasant.
It remains for me to thank them very much for the hospitality,
We do not know yet if we will come to Kona again, I do not know yet if I will participate in the IRONMAN again.
But we know for sure if Kona. then we would like to stay with you again.

Great location. Property is older, but well kept. Our condo was not ocean front but had a beautiful, partial view of the ocean and nightly sunsets. We really appreciated the coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. that were supplied for us. We used the grills and picnic tables located on the property on nights we didn't go out to eat. This was a great place to meet other people staying on the property and get beautiful pictures of the sunset. The condo was clean enough, but could really use a deep cleaning. Floors and walls were a little dirty. I also wish the condo would have had a dishwasher...I don't really want to hand wash dishes on my vacation!! Also, some of the dishes and cutlery in the cabinets and drawers were not clean and I think a dishwasher would have better ensured clean and sanitized dishes! The TV had a large black spot in the upper right hand corner. We really didn't think too much of it at the time since we really only watched the TV once during our stay, when our hometown basketball team was playing (Go Jays!) and just thought the TV was probably old and in need of replacement. Imagine our surprise when the management company contacted us after we checked out, accusing us of damaging the TV. Lesson learned, if you see any damage when you check in, report it immediately!! All in all we had a wonderful 2 week stay in Kona. Unfortunately we had to come back to below zero weather at home!

Very clean and comfortable. The queen size bed was like heaven after a long day out. The condo had everything we needed. Perfect location! I would highly recommended staying here. The grounds are very lush and very clean. There is a a very nice area where you can bbq right next to the water, or sit and relax and watch the waves crash against the rocks. I have to say that was my favorite part about this place, very relaxing. The pool is nice nothing great but not crowded at all. There is no elevator so staying on the third floor carrying out luggage was not fun but not a deal breaker at all. Oh by the way this review is for unit C35.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved how thoughtful hosts were and how everything we may needed on vacation was provided: all for cooking and even basic breakfast, like pancake mix and oat bars; everything for beach, like towels, umbrella, chairs and even boogie boards; everything for shower, even sunscreen and body lotion. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We really enjoyed having air conditioners and fans. Loved the view from the patio. The only little things that can be improved are bath towels need to be cleaner (we had white ones that looked greyish and had a little smell), also presence of cockroache (we saw one) and small ants (a lot in the bathroom). Overall really great place that I can recommend to my friends.

Me and my girlfriend came for a week recently and it was our first ever vacation without our 5 kids. Had the time of our life. The condo had everything you could want so you didn't have to spend money on stuff you'd take to the beach like chairs, umbrella, cooler and even boogey boards. We spent 99% of our time in the ocean snorkeling at two step beach and traveling to all the beautiful places but this place was an ideal place to return to after a long day to wind down. Super clean, beautiful view and most amazing sunsets every night. Also if anyone's reading this and wants a good burger while In Kona go to island ona loa grill. One of the best burgers I've ever had. My mom Lynne green has stayed here multiple times and had us come here and we will be back 100%. Thank you

I really enjoyed my stay in Kona isle c35! The place was exactly as advertised and the ocean view from the balcony was even better than the picture. Waking up to the sound of ocean waves right outside was one of the highlights of the trip. The location of the condo was perfect and just a short drive from restaurants and shops and the condo was well stocked and even included beach chairs and boogie boards. The condo was super clean when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was we found 2 cockroach looking bugs In both the bathroom and kitchen during our stay but I think that's common in Hawaii. The rental company came and put traps during our stay which was nice. If I came back to big island I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks while exploring all around the island. It was a great waterfront location. There is a nice coffee shop within walking distance. The grill area and pools were always very clean and we utilized them a lot. The unit itself had everything we needed. If I had to put one request in it would be for some grilling utensils. Otherwise it was great. The unit is nicely furnished and decorated and you can see and hear the ocean from the balcony.

Kona Aisle is very quiet and peaceful and provides everything you need for the perfect beach day. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the bedroom and see it from the balcony. The living room and kitchen were clean and provided most of what you need for a night in. The location of the condos itself was really close to everything - beaches, markets, and restaurants. Aside from the noisy vent in the bathroom, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for anyone exploring Kona!

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in our condo. It was located about 10 minutes from shopping and great restaurants with a pretty drive on the way. I loved that we could hear the ocean waves from our room and see them from out balcony. We really appreciated the beach accessories like chairs, an umbrella, cooler bags, and bamboo rolls and of course flippers for snorkeling and boogie boards! The condo was nice and clean and the perfect size with all we needed to have a memorable and relaxing vacation stay!

This is a nice condo. It had everything we needed and the location was great. The pool was wonderful for swims after sunset. There is a salt water pool that you have access to as well that is owned by the state. The management company gave clear directions, offered us advice on activities to do while on the island and called the last day to offer to store our bags for us if our flight was much later than checkout. Overall I am impressed. I won't be going to hotels anymore. This is cheaper and more convenient.

The condo was lovely and we very much enjoyed the lanai, eating at the little table and viewing the ocean waves.
Additionally, I had a few interactions with the condo manager, Brian. He was very friendly and suggested a wonderful guidebook for the island, which we borrowed from the library. A little touch that leaves a nice impression. Thank you Brian. The grounds and pool were lovely, too.

This is a great condo with all of the amenities. The kitchen has a very nice assortment of dishes and utensils, including a coffee grinder, which we used to make fresh ground coffee every day. The furnishings are in good shape and are comfortable. We enjoyed the nice view of the ocean on the balcony and spent a good portion of our time on the wicker chairs which were provided. Another great aspect of this particular unit is the combination lock on the front door, which meant no lost keys to worry about. Our only minor complaint about the property is that the scald guard on the shower is set way to low, making impossible to get a decently hot shower. A very minor complaint. Overall this is a very nice unit with everything you need to enjoy your stay on Kona. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 10 nights and couldn't have been happier. The unit had everything you need including, very nice beach chairs, sun umbrella, boogie boards, beach mats, cooler bag, snorkel fins and a few other things. The condo grounds are beautiful and the condo manager Brian is always hard at work. We loved that it felt more like home then vacation, quiet and peaceful! We will definitely be back

The Kona Isle C35 condo is part of an Ocean Front complex well located just between downtown Kona and some nice beaches. It was a good starting point to go to other attractions in the region. The kids enjoyed the pool and we could use the BBQ's and eat outside just beside the ocean while looking at the Sunset.
