Great Condo in a Great LocationErin M from Rocklin, CA recommends this property Stayed 10 days in December, 2009 This condo was clean and fully stocked, and the location couldn't be beat! We woke up every morning to surfers and turtles playing in the ocean. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away. The condo itself had everything you need, including a lot of great beach gear. There are a few improvements the condo owners could make: hooks on the lanai to hang up wet towels and swimsuits would be nice, more lighting in the living room and kitchen, and a fan to put in front of the lanai door to get the air moving so we wouldn't have to use the A/C so much. Great Location. The Lanai views were excellent. We saw several whales and the surfers and waves were also enjoyable to watch from the Lanai. We were a little disappointed in the small supply of soap available for our use.Walter L from Aurora, CO recommends this property Stayed 7 days in February, 2009 The furniture was great. Overall, we loved the place, but it needs a couple minor things to make it even better. We had to call to have a light bulb replaced and later found another bulb missing, which we replaced. The place was clean, except the floor matts are not washable and should be replaced with washable rugs. The sliding door and screen needs some maintenance/repair. We found that the best place to view the Ocean was on our private Lanai. The swimming pool area and BBQ grilling area was great. We loved this condo, the view from the lanai was fantastic. We saw cruise ship, submarine and lot of surfers. Also liked the sandy beach right next door to the property. Communications with the management was also A+! The lanay is 10 feet from the shore so when you open your doors it feels like you're living right on the beach. Being one story up, it's save enough to leave the door open all night and just listen. In fact, we spent every night on the very comfortable futon in the living room so we could do just that!

Whales, waves, and surfersA Guest from Bothell, WA recommends this property Stayed 6 days in February, 2009 The view from this location is awesome! Every morning we ate breakfast outside on the lanai and watched the waves crashing on the rocks as the moon faded behind the palms. The cruise ships coming in the early morning hours with their lights shining added another visual bonus. In the evening we watched the surfers (sometimes as many as 13)as they rode the waves into shore while we awaited the sunsets. Unfortunately the VOG made them (the sunsets) less then stellar. The sunsets weren't the worst we have seen but they also were not the best. That said, the whales breeching right off shore more then made up for it. The shops are within easy walking distance and the Farmers market provided a great choice of sweet pineapples, gigantic avocados, and so much more. This unit also has unexpected extras such as snorkling gear, ice chests, and soft beach towels. It has a fairly well equipped kitchen that included plenty of storage containers which came in handy for leftovers. All in all a good value. - Overall satisfaction

Many an hour was spent just gazing at the ocean and we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming alongside one of the cruise ships. The property manager was also very friendly and extremely helpful. When we discovered that the previous renters forgot to leave the pool key, they came in short notice to bring us one.

Great stay but furnishings need rethinkingDavid H from Delta, BC does not recommend this property Stayed 34 days in February, 2009 No reading lights and only one chair. The bed-like couch was not comfortable for reading and with the cooler evenings, the lack of a dining table and chairs inside was a serious deficiency in our opinion. The cooking tools and kitchen appliances were adequate but we could have done with a pie plate and cookie sheet. We purchased a proper spatula.
If there had been a sponge mop we would have had an easier time keeping the floors clean during our 5 week stay. The vaccuume is just not enough!
